 The 2018 Pinot Noir Altamont has developed into an incredibly elegant wine build on effusive aromatics and bright acids, while shedding some of the youthful intensity it showed a year ago. Crushed red berries, chalk, mint, flowers and white pepper give the 2018 a striking upper register that works so beautifully here. The clean, bracing finish is so engaging. (AG) (1/2021)
